Ex-Meta scientists want to bring visual AI to the factory floor

Perceptron, founded by two former Meta FAIR scientists, launched Isaac 0.5, an open-weight vision model for industrial robots.

Trained on large-scale video data, the model is designed to help robots perceive, reason, navigate, and analyze visual conditions in warehouses and factories.
