iOS 27 leak shows off Siri’s minimalist redesign and new tricks within a dedicated app

Bloomberg says Apple is testing a major Siri redesign for iOS 27.

The update could include a cleaner Dynamic Island interface and a new swipe-down “Search or Ask” gesture.

Siri may get richer AI search, more task actions, and a standalone app for voice, text, attachments, and third-party AI services.

The overhaul could make Siri more useful and more competitive with ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.
