Cloudflare aims to achieve full post-quantum security, including authentication, by 2029.

The company has accelerated its transition and began preparing for migration in 2019.

By 2022, post-quantum cryptography was enabled for all websites and APIs using Cloudflare.

At the time of reporting, more than 65% of human traffic through Cloudflare is post-quantum encrypted.

Roadmap milestones: origin authentication mid-2026, visitor-to-Cloudflare mid-2027, Cloudflare One early-2028; the migration will take years.
