Intel Nova Lake leak is all about one thing: absurd amounts of cache

A leak suggests Intel’s Nova Lake desktop CPUs will lean heavily on very large last-level cache, or bLLC.

The flagship chip is said to reach 288MB total cache, with DDR5-8000 support, new NPUs, and improved integrated graphics.

Power draw could go as high as 175W, pointing to a design aimed at high-end desktop performance.

If accurate, the lineup would directly target one of AMD’s biggest gaming advantages in its X3D chips.
