Claude Voice Mode to get Opus and Sonnet model options

Anthropic appears close to launching a Claude voice mode upgrade with a hidden model picker.

The picker can route chats through Opus or Sonnet instead of always defaulting to Haiku 4.5.

The feature is still behind a flag and uses a text-to-speech pipeline, not a speech-native model.

If released, the change would make voiced conversations better for reasoning, longer tasks, and tool use.
