Virgin Galactic reveals new ship, but it's running out of time and cash

Virgin Galactic showed its next-generation spaceship being moved outside its Mesa, Arizona factory.

The company paused VSS Unity flights in June 2024 to focus on a cheaper, more frequent commercial vehicle.

The new craft is meant to replace older hardware and help turn space tourism into a repeatable business.

That effort comes as Virgin Galactic faces funding pressure and an uncertain market.
