YouTube adds new podcast features, including an AI recommendation tool and ‘Auto speed’

YouTube is rolling out new podcast features for Premium users, starting on Android.

The update adds AI-based recommendations, an adaptive Auto speed mode, and a quick on-the-go listening mode.

These tools are meant to improve podcast discovery and playback, making YouTube more competitive with Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Netflix.

iOS support is coming later.
