Google's AI Search Results Will Now Turn to Reddit for Expert Advice

Google is updating AI Overviews and AI Mode to surface firsthand sources more prominently, including Reddit, forums, and blogs.

The search experience will add creator/community labels, related long-form article suggestions, and clearer sourcing from linked subscriptions.

The change could shift which sources users trust in AI search and which publishers receive traffic from Google.
