Apple AirPods Max 2 review: The tiniest of upgrades

Apple’s AirPods Max 2 were reviewed as being almost unchanged from the original model in design, colors, battery life, and sound.

The main notable updates are the H2 chip and a switch to USB-C.

That means buyers may see little practical reason to upgrade from older AirPods Max, especially at the premium price.

Compared with rivals like the Sony WH-1000XM6 and Bose QuietComfort Ultra, the new model offers only minor improvements.
