KDDI offers free collection of mobile batteries in Tokyo, regardless of manufacturer

KDDI will run a free collection program for mobile batteries, regardless of manufacturer, at four stores in Tokyo from August 1 to October 31.

The participating locations are au Style SHINJUKU, au Style IKEBUKURO, au Style UENO, and GINZA 456 Created by KDDI.

VOLTA will handle transportation and recycling after collection.

The initiative aims to increase drop-off options, prevent fire-related accidents, and support resource recycling.
