Anthropic and OpenAI are both launching joint ventures for enterprise AI services

Anthropic announced a new enterprise AI joint venture backed by Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, Goldman Sachs, and other investors.

OpenAI is also reportedly raising funds for a similar venture, The Development Company, aimed at selling AI services to mid-sized and enterprise customers.

Anthropic’s venture is valued at $1.5 billion, while OpenAI’s planned venture is targeting $4 billion at a $10 billion valuation.

Both moves show leading AI labs using investor-backed channels to speed enterprise adoption and widen distribution through investors’ portfolio companies.
