Raspberry Pi announces further price hikes and adds 3GB RAM Raspberry Pi 4

Raspberry Pi announced further price increases for many models on April 1, 2026, citing rising memory costs.

LPDDR4 DRAM prices have increased about sevenfold since 2025, according to the company blog.

Raspberry Pi introduced a new 3GB RAM variant of the Raspberry Pi 4 priced at $83.75 to offer more options.

Higher-RAM models see larger hikes, including $100 for the 16GB Pi 5 and $150 for the Raspberry Pi 500+.

Models using LPDDR2 DRAM, such as Raspberry Pi Zero and older Pi 1/3 series, are exempt from the increases.
