The Selling Price of Chinese-made DDR5 Memory Has Been Revealed — Will Memory Get Cheaper?

Sales prices for DDR5 memory modules using CXMT chips have been disclosed.

A 64GB DDR5-5600 ECC module is priced at roughly the same level as Samsung and SK hynix products, and in some cases slightly higher.

Although BIOS support for CXMT is expanding adoption, there is no clear sign of a major price discount yet.

The early pricing suggests CXMT’s entry has not immediately driven down server-memory prices.
