The Pentagon finalized new AI deals with major U.S. tech firms to bring models and cloud infrastructure into classified military environments and day-to-day operations.

Partners include OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Nvidia, SpaceX, and Reflection AI, expanding the military’s access to advanced AI tools.

Nvidia and Reflection AI emphasized open-source AI options, strengthening domestic alternatives for defense use.

Anthropic was excluded after a contract dispute and a supply-chain risk designation, underscoring how security concerns are reshaping AI procurement.
