Classic Shmup 'Truxton' Returns After Nearly 35 Years On Switch 2

Truxton Extreme is a new entry in Toplan’s Truxton series coming to Switch 2 on 30 July 2026.

The game is developed by Tatsujin and published by Clear River Games with Masahiro Yuge returning as composer.

Truxton Extreme uses full 3D visuals while keeping the classic top-down shooter design and includes Story, Arcade, and Team co-op modes.
