This rumored MacBook Pro upgrade has me excited, and it has nothing to do with OLED

Apple is reportedly planning a late-year redesign of the high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.

The revamped laptops are expected to be thinner and lighter, and to add OLED displays with touch support.

They may also feature M6 Pro and M6 Max chips, while the base M6 model could keep the current design for now.

If true, the slimmer chassis could make the 16-inch MacBook Pro much more portable without major performance tradeoffs.
