‘Grok Imagine’ gets a major upgrade... supports 1080p video and voice consistency

xAI has upgraded Grok Imagine with text-to-video generation from prompts alone.

It also adds character consistency using up to seven reference images, voice reference support, and native 1080p output.

The new features are powered by Imagine Video 1.5 and are available on the web, iOS, Android, and via API.

Access rolls out first to U.S. SuperGrok Heavy and SuperGrok Plus subscribers, before expanding to all plans.

xAI also introduced SuperGrok Plus, a mid-tier subscription priced at $100 per month.
