Mercedes-Benz hypes up the upcoming AMG.EA as an electric car worth waiting for

Mercedes-AMG unveiled development details for AMG.EA, its new electric performance platform for the AMG GT 4-Door Coupe.

The platform was built from scratch for high-performance EV driving and includes an AMG Race Engineer system with rotary controls for response, agility, and traction.

After setbacks in testing at Papenburg, engineers revised the design using digital twins to refine the prototype.

Formula 1 driver George Russell said the prototype’s power delivery was easy to manage, but Mercedes-AMG says the car is not ready for launch and has no release date yet.
