Android Auto has had a rough time lately, with yet another issue popping up

Users reported that local music files are being omitted from Spotify playlists when using Android Auto.

The issue was first posted on Reddit and covered by Android Authority but appears to affect only a small number of users.

Standard fixes like reinstalling Spotify or clearing its cache did not resolve the problem for those affected.

Google previously rolled out an update that fixed a recent Android Auto connectivity issue, and a Spotify update may be needed for this bug.
