Dragon Quest XI Gets the 'Definitive Edition' Treatment (Again) for Switch 2

Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch 2.

It launches on 24 September 2026 and adds new story chapters, extra voice work, and 3D/2D mode switching.

Players will also be able to choose graphics or performance settings, with the game priced at £34.99.

The physical release will use a Game-Key Card, and no upgrade path for current Switch owners was mentioned.
