One of the Last Surviving Writers on the Original Star Trek Is Returning for a New, Massive 60th Anniversary Comic

Paramount and IDW announced Star Trek: The 60th Anniversary Special, a 68-page anthology comic arriving September 2.

Original-series writer David Gerrold is returning to Star Trek with a new Harry Mudd story.

The anthology also includes work from other writers and teases future IDW Star Trek comics.

The release marks a major anniversary project and reunites a key franchise contributor with the property.
