Hundreds of shared Claude chats, including resumes and health details, showed up in Google search

Anthropic is blocking search engines from indexing shared Claude conversations after hundreds of public chat links showed up in search results.

The exposed chats included sensitive details such as resumes and health information, along with other user content shared through public links.

The issue highlights how AI chat share features can unintentionally make private data discoverable by Google, Bing, Brave, DuckDuckGo, and other crawlers.

Anthropic has since moved to stop indexing and remove the links from search results.
