Apple Silicon, to the cloud… possible consideration of a subscription-based server business

Apple is being viewed as a potential entrant into subscription computing by offering Apple silicon Macs as cloud servers.

The idea is driven by growing demand for local AI workloads and always-on Mac systems.

Concepts include running Mac Studio or Mac mini hardware as remote, headless servers for AI and other workloads.

If it happens, Apple could add a recurring revenue stream and expand deeper into AI infrastructure beyond hardware sales.
