H3 rocket back in action; first "30 configuration" launch set for June 10

JAXA has scheduled H3 Rocket Flight 6 for June 10 from Tanegashima, marking the first launch of the new low-cost 30-config.

The mission will carry the VEP-5 performance payload and try to deploy six small satellites into orbit.

The flight comes after earlier delays caused by a ground test issue and follows the H3-8 failure, making it a key confidence-building test.

JAXA also plans final inspections and data collection to verify the vehicle and support future H3 missions.
