NHN targets Japan with its gaming strategy... sharpens growth pillars in cloud, payments, and defense

NHN is shifting its game strategy toward Japan after stronger results from Japanese mobile titles.

NHN Cloud will start booking revenue from the Yangpyeong GPU region in Q2 and is targeting over 30% CSP growth, supported by new contracts and public-sector AI infrastructure work.

NHN KCP is building a payment-specific mainnet with Ava Labs and expanding merchant coverage, including Mercedes-Benz Korea.

NHN has also launched a 16.7 billion won share buyback that will be fully cancelled after purchase.
