M230LF Dual Feed Bushmaster switches between anti-drone and anti-armor ammo reloading

Northrop Grumman unveiled the M230LF Dual Feed Bushmaster Chain Gun, built to switch instantly between two ammunition types.

Crews can change from XM1198 anti-armor rounds to XM1211 counter-drone rounds at the push of a button, without reloading.

The dual-feed design gives one cannon flexibility against both armored targets and drones, improving battlefield response.

Northrop Grumman is also ramping up production of the cannon and XM1211 ammunition as demand for counter-UAS weapons rises.
