Jensen Huang: “The pessimism that AI will destroy jobs has been completely turned upside down”

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang pushed back on fears that AI will wipe out large numbers of white-collar jobs.

He said AI is more likely to automate specific tasks — in customer service, healthcare, coding, and legal work — than eliminate entire occupations.

Huang argued productivity gains from AI could help create new work and expand employment, not just shrink it.

His comments contrast with Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei’s warning that AI could sharply reduce entry-level office jobs.
