This utterly cute Chinese EV costs just $6,200 and pushes over 190 miles

Wuling launched the 2026 Hongguang Mini EV in late March 2026 with four variants priced before subsidies from about $6,200 to $7,600.

The top-spec model is rated up to 187 miles (301 km) on China’s CLTC cycle and supports fast charging from 30% to 80% in 35 minutes.

The interior has a 10.1-inch touchscreen, many storage compartments, and rear seats that fold to provide 838 liters of cargo space.

The Hongguang nameplate sold 427,000 units in 2025 and has exceeded 1.8 million cumulative sales to date.
