Ex-Forza Horizon devs tease game reveal around PlayStation's State of Play

Maverick Games will reveal its debut title on Tuesday: an open-world driving game.

The announcement is timed for the same day as PlayStation’s State of Play.

The studio is led by former Playground and Forza Horizon veterans, adding weight to the debut.

Maverick was once backed by Amazon, but it is now independent after Amazon scaled back most of its games business.
