Sharkmob confirmed that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt will shut down after four years.

The vampire battle royale stopped getting new content in 2023 and had dwindled to around 1,000 active players.

Bloodhunt peaked at about 29,475 players at launch, but balance issues and cheating hurt long-term retention.

Its closure ends one of the few World of Darkness battle royale games and highlights how hard this crowded genre is to sustain.
