Google TV adds features no one really asked for

Google announced a Google TV update with Gemini-powered tools for image and video generation, including Nano Banana and Veo.

The update also adds voice search for Google Photos, photo remixing, and Google Photos-based screensavers.

A new YouTube Shorts section will appear on the Google TV home screen, making the TV more of an AI and media hub.
