Spotify Will Start Reserving Concert Tickets For An Artist's Most Dedicated Fans

Spotify is launching Reserved, a new ticketing program that identifies likely superfans from listening and app activity and gives them early access to buy two concert tickets.

The rollout starts in the US for eligible Premium users age 18 and up, with selected fans notified by email and in-app alerts.

Availability will vary by artist, tour, and location, and Spotify says the program is backed by a multi-year partnership with Live Nation.

The move could make concert access easier for loyal fans while expanding Spotify’s role in live-event ticketing and fan data.
