Modern Warfare 4 Is Sending Us to North Korea, but Its New Bullet Tech Is Perhaps Its Best Feature

A preview report says Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is targeting an October 23, 2026 launch on PC, current-gen Xbox, PS5, and later Switch 2.

Its campaign is said to focus on a North Korea-led conflict on the Korean Peninsula, with familiar characters like Price, Ghost, and Soap returning.

Multiplayer is expected to get a major gunplay refresh through Ballistic Authority, a new system meant to make bullet spread and hipfire feel more natural.
