Call of Duty Has Bad News for Fans on Last-Gen Consoles

Activision confirmed the next Call of Duty game will skip PS4 and, by extension, Xbox One.

Players will need a PS5, Xbox Series X/S, or a Windows PC to play future mainline entries.

Warzone support on last-gen consoles is still unclear, but older hardware support is effectively ending.

The move adds more pressure on players already facing rising console prices, and future Call of Duty games will no longer launch day one on Game Pass.
