GLI-AL: A Multi-Modal Glioma MRI Label Resource with Unified Anatomy-Lesion Labels

Researchers released GLI-AL, a label-only MRI resource derived from BraTS 2023-GLI.

It adds unified eight-class anatomy-lesion annotations across 1,251 glioma MRI cases, including white matter hyperintensities and repaired imaging labels.

The new labels reduce supervision noise from previously unlabeled abnormalities and better capture complex coexisting findings.

GLI-AL should support more reliable joint anatomy-lesion segmentation and evaluation in multi-modal glioma MRI.
