Intel's upcoming Xeon 7 'Diamond Rapids' server CPUs reportedly delayed to 2027 — Next-gen Coral Rapids lineup lands 2028 but can be accelerated, according to new leak

A leak says Intel’s Xeon 7 Diamond Rapids server CPUs have slipped from 2026 to 2027.

The first Diamond Rapids parts are said to be 256-core chips, with 512-core models arriving later.

Coral Rapids is now reportedly pushed to 2028, while Clearwater Forest still targets the first half of 2026.

The delay could give AMD more time to launch EPYC Venice first and shift the high-end server CPU race.
