Space embryos: China launches lab-grown human cells into orbit to study reproduction

China launched stem-cell-derived human embryo models to Tiangong on Shenzhou 19.

The blastoids are not real embryos and will be studied to see how microgravity affects early development.

Researchers hope the experiment will improve space biology and inform fertility medicine on Earth.

Results will be analyzed after the mission returns in 2025.
