Google takes a page out of Meta’s book, announces new audio-powered smart glasses at IO 2026

Google unveiled new AI-powered audio glasses at I/O 2026 with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster.

The glasses, designed with Samsung, will connect to Android and iOS and use Google services for voice control.

Gemini support is expected later this year, marking Google’s return to smart glasses.
