OpenAI Codex and Figma launch seamless code-to-design experience

OpenAI and Figma expanded their partnership with a Codex integration through the Figma MCP Server.

The setup lets users generate Figma designs from code and turn Figma work back into code.

It supports both code-first and design-first workflows across tools like ChatGPT, Figma Make, and FigJam.

The goal is to cut friction between design and development and speed up product iteration.
