Gemini now generates your files for you

Google has expanded Gemini’s export options, letting users generate research outputs directly in formats like PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, RTF, TXT, MD, and Google file types.

Instead of relying on a dedicated export button, users can now request the desired file format through prompting.

The change makes it easier to move Gemini-generated research into shareable documents and spreadsheets.

It also reduces manual copy-paste and reformatting for all app users worldwide.
