Teamgroup Pushes Elite DDR5 to 8000 MT/s at Just 1.1V, Squeezing JEDEC-Compliant Speed Out of Mainstream Memory

Teamgroup has launched Elite Plus DDR5 and Elite DDR5 desktop memory modules rated up to 8000 MT/s.

The new kits run at just 1.1V and stay within JEDEC specifications, including timings such as CL56-56-56-128.

Initial 16GB x 2 kits are expected to appear on Amazon in North America in June 2026.

The release highlights mainstream DDR5 reaching very high speeds while remaining low-power and standards-compliant.
