Emergency Update for Windows Server Following Reboot Issues

Microsoft released out-of-band Windows Server updates to address problems introduced by the April 2026 Patch Tuesday cycle.

Affected systems saw LSASS crashes, domain controller reboot loops, authentication outages, and a Windows Server 2025 installation failure.

Some machines also booted into BitLocker recovery after the update.

The emergency fixes are meant to restore server stability and authentication and prevent further downtime.
