Steam Deletes a Bunch of Game Tags Like 'Dungeons & Dragons,' 'Warhammer 40K,' and 'Lego' in Rare Purge

Valve overhauled Steam’s official store tags, adding 17 new tags, removing 28 old ones, and merging or renaming others.

Dropped tags include references like Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer 40K, Lego, NSFW, and Roguevania.

New tags include Bullet Heaven, Desktop Companion, Organizing, Cleaning, Wuxia, and Xianxia.

Valve says the changes are meant to improve game classification, search, and recommendation quality for players.
