July 2026 desktop Windows share: Win11 at 68.93% globally, 50% in China - IT之家

According to Statcounter, Windows 11 led the global desktop Windows market in July 2026 with a 68.93% share.

Windows 10 fell to 29.83% globally, continuing its gradual phaseout.

In China’s desktop market, Windows 11 held 50.00% and Windows 10 43.58%, making the gap much narrower.

Older versions such as Windows 7 remained at low levels, showing ongoing but uneven upgrade momentum across markets.
