Wordle Heads to Television With a New Primetime Game Show on NBC

NBC is turning Wordle into a primetime game show set to debut in 2027.

Teams of three will compete to solve five-letter puzzles, with Savannah Guthrie hosting and Jimmy Fallon executive producing.

Production begins in 2026, and casting is now open at wordle.castingcrane.com.

Applicants must be 21 or older and able to travel for filming.
