SkyDrive and NEXCO West Japan sign partnership agreement to consider sightseeing flights from service areas and parking areas

SkyDrive and NEXCO West Japan signed an agreement on April 24 to study using SA/PA sites as vertiport hubs for flying cars.

The plan will test sightseeing flights and disaster-response use cases, with the goal of turning highway facilities into next-generation mobility infrastructure.

The collaboration could create new value for tourism and disaster mitigation, especially as Osaka-Kansai Expo interest grows.
