Pangram says its new AI text detector makes only one mistake per 24,000 documents

Pangram launched Pangram 4, a new AI text detector that it says catches 99.66% of AI text with just 0.0041% false positives.

The model is designed to spot lightly edited AI, mixed human-AI writing, and content rewritten with common humanizer tools.

All plans now include image scanning, and the API price has risen to $0.05 per 100 words.

Pangram 3 will stay available until September 30, 2026.
