Square Enix Has "No Plans" To Sell a Switch 2 Upgrade for Dragon Quest XI S

Square Enix confirmed Dragon Quest XI S is coming to Switch 2, but there will be no paid upgrade from the original Switch version.

Nintendo’s listing also says save data will not transfer between the two versions, so progress cannot be carried over.

The Switch 2 edition will offer optimization choices for graphics or performance.

Its physical release will use a Game-Key Card, adding another wrinkle for buyers.
