Mercari Mobile launches data-only eSIM, starting at 4GB per month for 770 yen

Mercari Mobile has launched a data-only eSIM plan, starting at 4GB for ¥770 per month and scaling up to 40GB.

The plan works on eSIM-compatible devices and does not include voice calls or SMS.

Applications and activation are completed entirely online, with no identity verification required, and foreign nationals can also apply.

Users can still use Mercari Mobile’s gigabyte trading feature and related perks, including Mercari Pay and point rewards.
