Google Meet is finally giving users more control over 'Take notes for me'

Google Meet is updating its "Take notes for me" feature with section controls for Summary, Next Steps, Details, and a new Decisions section.

The AI-generated notes will also be shorter and easier to scan, making meeting takeaways more actionable.

The rollout is expanding to eligible Google Workspace and AI plan users by May 15.
